Announcing 2024-2025 Auditions

Priority Submission Deadline & In-Person Auditions: August 24th, 2024

All in-person auditions will take place on August 24th and may be video recorded for reference as seating is determined. We prefer potential members (especially new ones) to audition in person, but we do offer an online option for those who can't make it on, or joins after August 24th.

If you are looking for information on our Concerto Auditions please see our  Concerto Audition page .

Progression, growth and challenging one's own playing ability is encouraged from NUYE staff.  If a member is interested in moving up an ensemble level during a season year, the member should:
1. Communicate interest in auditioning for a different ensemble group with their current ensemble manager.
2. Follow the audition instructions on the website for the desired ensemble.
3. Moving to a different ensemble during a concert cycle is NOT permitted.  Members are encouraged to to submit audition requirements two weeks prior to the end of a concert cycle so that the transition to the new ensemble can begin the first rehearsal day of the next concert cycle.
4. Moving to a different ensemble may result in an increase in membership fees.  Payment for these fees (prorated) are due within two weeks of the transition.
* If there are any other questions please consult your current ensemble manager.
