Tuition/Membership Fees

Payment is due by October 1st. A $10 late fee will be assessed for all those not turning in their payment by this deadline.  You can pay either online at the link below or to the Welcome Table at rehearsals.

The tuition cap for families is $450 excluding applicable retreat fees.

 

For musicians joining after the October 1st, membership fees are payable at the first rehearsal after a successful audition (or payment arrangements must be made at that time).

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules and circumstances change. If you need to withdraw within 15 calendar days of registration, a $50 cancellation fee will be applied and the remaining balance will be refunded.  After 15 calendar days, refunds are no longer available.  

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Ensemble Manager.  Approved refunds will be issued by check and mailed within 2 weeks of receiving the request.  

Scholarship Policy 

       A limited number of Scholarships are available for students who demonstrate financial hardship. Scholarships must be applied for individually. (not by family).  Funds are limited and scholarships are awarded on a case by case basis.  Scholarship may cover up to 100% of tuition for financial hardship. 

Retreats and/or special events are not covered.

1. Review the Handbook, then complete the acceptance and payment form.

2.  Print and fill out the scholarship application (one per individual).

3. Submit your completed application to your ensemble manager.  

Approval Process

Applications will be reviewed by the ensemble manager and bookkeeper ASAP.  They will either approve the scholarship or suggest an adjustment for discussion.  It may be determined that partial monetary contribution is still necessary.  In some cases, the LBSS Board may be consulted.  Recipients of a scholarship are expected to contribute through assigned volunteer tasks in lieu of monetary contributions, at the discretion of the their ensemble manager.  Scholarships may be revoked due to attendance issues or failure to complete volunteer tasks.
