Audition Requirements

Each audition will be split into 3 parts: scales, excerpt, and solo piece. Choose the scale/excerpt from below that you feel best represents your ability. It's okay to challenge yourself! To be considered for NUYS you must at minimum play the level 2 scales/excerpt.

Scales: Level 1-One octave scale of your choice

Level 2-Two octave major scale, 

One octave melodic minor scale

Level 3-Three octave major scale,

Two octave melodic minor scale

Solo: Prepare a solo/etude that you feel best represents you abilities
